Endless Wall TrailThis popular trail tours one of the wonders of the New River Gorge -- the unbroken cliffline known as the Endless Wall, which follows the rim of the gorge east of the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. Breathtaking panoramas await hikers as the trail leads along the top of the cliffs through gnarled pines, mossy boulders, and rhododendron thickets.
NOTES: Many hikers follow the trail from its Fern Creek trailhead to its overlook at Diamond Point and then return. This trail is not recommended for families with young children as guardrails are not provided along the many cliffs that the trail approaches.
