Kates Plateau Trail

This New River Gorge hiking trail follows old logging roads along the wall of the canyon of Glade Creek and among the fields and forests of the highland plateaus to its east. The arm of that ascends Kates Branch from the Pinch Creek Trailhead is steep and its crossing at Kates Branch can be challenging.
